Australian Business Solutions, the magazine that focuses on practical business solutions, is designed to assist people running businesses by providing practical, hands-on advice for dealing with real-world problems in areas such as sales, marketing, human resources and so on. Contributions to the editorial content of Australian Business Solutions are most cordially invited. Companies or individuals, whether inside or outside the business community, wishing to express a view on any matter that relates to an aspect of business, are invited to submit their view in writing. Please note Australian Business Solutions does not offer any remuneration for published articles. Publishing policy requires of all writers a signed attestation that all work submitted is the product of the writer and that all quotations used are exempt from copyright control. Notes on writing for Australian Business Solutions: Please be advised that Australian Business Solutions magazine does not accept advertorial disguised as editorial. Article structure Articles should begin with the Title and the author/s name, a two to three sentence paragraph as an introduction, followed by the body copy and a conclusion. It is also suggested that you include breakout quotes and text boxes where possible. Please also include an image and brief bio of yourself (50 words) and your company contact details at the conclusion of your article, so that interested parties may contact you should they require further information. All Australian Business Solutions articles should be: Impartial - Articles should present a balanced view of both sides of discussion. Generic - Articles should not promote one particular product or service over another. Australian Business Solutions articles are not advertorials. Educational - Australian Business Solutions magazine prides itself on its ability to make a valuable contribution to the educative enterprise of the business industry. This is achieved through its editorial content. Interesting - Where possible, add examples, case studies, war stories, or anecdotes. Non-Technical - Given that not everyone who reads Australian Business Solutions has an MBA, it is important to ensure that technical/academic concepts and terms are explained in the simplest of terms or even avoided where possible. Australian Business Solutions magazine complies with the Cambridge Australian English Style Guide and the Oxford English Dictionary. All articles should be written in the third person (editorial style). Please ensure that all articles are properly checked for spelling and grammar prior to submission. Please note that authors will be required to sign a release agreement prior to the publication of submitted material. Any images you might wish to include in the article can be sent either electronically or via standard mail. Please ensure that all electronic images are of a resolution no less than 300 Dots Per Inch (DPI) and saved as either TIFF or JPEG files. Electronic images can also be emailed to ksheehan@australianmediagroup.com. Printed images, such as photos or brochures, can be mailed care of the editor to 4 King Street, Blackburn, Vic 3130. These images will be scanned and returned as quickly as possible. If you are unable to provide any images for your article, please let the editor know as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made. As stated above, it is important that Australian Business Solutions editorial remains impartial and objective.
